The Fatherhood Breakthrough

Over 35 years ago, Dr. Ken Canfield discovered a simple truth: equipping men to be better fathers transforms families. This conviction sparked the founding of the National Center for Fathering at Fathers.com, and a movement that still shapes lives today.

Since 1990, we have worked to turn the hearts of fathers to their children. In response to the crisis of fatherlessness, we combine research and real-world training to equip dads with the tools they need to lead and love well.

Through tools like the Personal Fathering Profile and our Train-the-Trainer program, we empower leaders to reach fathers in their communities and around the world. Our books, events, and online resources help men grow as fathers who live with purpose.

As fatherhood continues to change, we meet today’s dads with relevant, practical support. From young fathers to grandfathers, we are committed to strengthening families by equipping men to be present, intentional, and faithful in their role as dads.
