Brilliant North Elementary School Principal Susan Nolan signed her school up for the program and has seen an immediate impact. The WATCH D.O.G.S. do a little bit of everything from helping unload cars and buses to reading and working with students.
“In elementary, there’s very few males, and in this society now, there is sometimes not a father figure in the home or close to the home and just having that bond for these kids that need that dad figure in their life is just tremendous,” Nolan said.
The WATCH D.O.G.S. love being there for their own kids, but they know they are having an impact on the entire school.
