We are pleased to announce our latest toolkit, the Championship Fathering Commitment Widget. The widget for our website is on the right. Instructions for using it are below. (You can use our Facebook version here.)

Our widget, JSON API, is a simple way to support our cause while also providing you with realtime statistics. It tracks the number of people from your site that make the commitment to Championship Fathering in addition to the total number of pledges.

It's a simple addition to any site that can be completed in less than 15 minutes and only requires basic HTML knowledge to implement.

JSON API

The JSON API is a precompiled, externally ran, component that you can add to your site.

What to do with it

This is the most common method to include external content to web pages. Using this method is contained in just three lines of code. The fathers.com API fetches the JSON code from the first script tag line. Next it makes the request to call the Fathers.com Championship Fathering widget to display. In return it will display the API in 160px X 160px div node. Copy and paste the following lines of code into your web page.

In order for the API to display the results, you will need to add a blank div tag to your web page where you want the API displayed. Add the following div tag with the id attribute set as noted below.
